A little bit about Link Coffee

Link Coffee Bar is a welcoming cafe in the Uptown Denver neighborhood for people to connect and enjoy great coffee and food. The concept for Link was inspired by the desire of owners Cabal and Emily Yarne to create a place to connect ( and to “link”) both the personal and professional aspects of people’s lives. Whether it’s for a business meeting, studying, a family outing, or gathering with friends, Cabal and Emily wanted a comfortable space for people to come together. Human Connections are the Threads That Reinforce and Enhance our Lives The process of building Link has been much like Emily and Cabal’s vision for the space: experiencing community and making connections. Friends and family have been essential along the way, and new relationships have been built with the contractors, vendors, and Link’s neighbors. Numerous friends stepped up to lend a hand and offer support when needed. Cabal’s parents flew in from Wisconsin and Emily’s parents flew in from Ohio to help construct benches, tables, countertops, and shelves, along with helping with lots of shopping. Cabal’s mom spent her 70th birthday sanding and varnishing, and his parents also celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary while helping to put together the pieces for Link. A chance encounter with Emily’s friend from kindergarten, Erik, led to a revamping of the original logo and a defining of Link’s brand. All of this has overwhelmed Emily and Cabal with gratitude and has given Link its heart and soul. The evolution of Link has been an opportunity for Emily and Cabal to connect with their friends and family though business and community, and they hope to create the same opportunity for their customers to connect with the people in their lives.
